Arch Overseers has been around for over 10 years. It was one of the original Everquest guilds, and has been under current leadership for the majority of this time. AO participated in high-end raid content and was at the top of the food chain for quite a while. In late 2004, many of us decided to leave EQ and try other games. Since this point, we have been trying to find a game worth sticking with, and think we have finally found it in Aion.
Our goal in Aion is to help eachother to level up and experience group content, and do whatever work shows itself necessary in order to tackle raid content. Gear farming is something that does not scare us, but the guild always comes first. Guild leader and officers will always make the final call when it comes to guild events and loot distribution, but we have very team oriented goals.
Our basic requirements/rules are as follows:
- Be available to play between the hours of 5pm-11pm UK Time, at a minimum of 4 times per week.
- Expect to group with guild members first, and to be vocal in guild chat regarding the formation of groups. Most players will understand if you need to leave to go join your guild.
- While our members are from many different countries, we are an English speaking guild.
- Have an open mind and dont be easily offended. If you can't handle being ordered around during raids, dont bother applying. If you can't handle foul language (I don't mean insults, just swearing in general) don't bother applying.
- Your forum name must match your character name. If you already created an account with the wrong name, send a PM to Darkgecko.
- Trials may last anywhere from a week to a year (but usually about a month), it all depends on how many people think that you would be a valuable asset, and whether you should be a good fit. If you are curious why you haven't been accepted yet, just ask an officer for more information.
- Level requirement for applicants is 30.
- While we do have a voice comms server, /legion will be our main form of communication. For guild events and or/abyss raids, voice comms may become a requirement to attend in the future.
